My grandchildren love the swing set and it's very well built. However, you will need to purchase anchors or cement the legs somehow, because it tilts very easily when the kids swing on it. Our granddaughters are 5 and 7 years old, and the set cannot handle them both swinging at the same time without some kind of anchor. It would be helpful if they included anchors with the set, considering how expensive a set it is.This swingset was a great deal, very affordable. It is nothing fancy, but it is perfect for what we wanted. My four year old loves it all. It was fairly simple to put together. We were missing a couple of screws, which I wasn't surprised about after reading other reviews. I did email the company but never heard back. Luckily, we had similar screws we could use so we were still able to put it together. A few of the plastic bolt covers broke when we were assembling it because we screwed it too tight, so I would watch for that. We have used it all summer and it is in good shape. I'm expecting to get a few years out of it before my daughter outgrows it.I’m a 33 year old female who is pretty good at assembling things. I got my dad to help me but I ended up helping him (handing him pieces). It took him (with minimum of my help) 2 hours and 45 minutes to assemble completely; that includes reading the instructions very carefully as we went. I suggest really paying attention to the diagram as well as the holes in the poles (that collectively make up the A frame that go from the top bar to the ground) because you will have to connect the teeter-totter on one side and the slide on the other side. As far as the slide goes, the screws that connect the slide to the frame will not be super tight so when you get to that part, it’s supposed to be that way. You can always put in an extra washer you have lying around the house until it’s as tight as you would like. Dad and I left it as is. I read a lot of reviews saying people had to go to the hardware store to get extra pieces, we did not have that problem. We had everything we needed. Dad’s drill helped us move along a little quicker. I hope your assembly was as painless as ours was.Other than a few sets of bolts being too long (and not fitting under the safety caps) set went together nicely and easily. We will just be buying a couple shorter ones to ensure the metal doesn't poke out in the playing area. Put it together in a day with help from family. I will say.. read directions carefully. The poles all look very similar but have different holes drilled. We had to switch poles after it was pretty much completely put up because the attachments didn't fit with the poles on the opposite side. Very happy with the set, especially for the price.UPDATE 2 YEARS LATERStill very happy with the set! The slide is gone.. the Arizona sun scorched it and it was pretty flimsy to begin with. Everything else is holding up though. Some things like the covers on the chains are almost toast, and the swings and seats are getting faded, but everything is still very useable. The bolts and screws are still secure, and the plastic washers that help the swings swing are holding up as well. Still very smooth and sturdy. Our kids are 5 and 3 and have been playing with this thing pretty much daily for two years. Just re-did our mulch as well.If you're interested, we actually bought this slide: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FWLNJDQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to replace. It's sad this swing set gets low ratings, because I think it very good, especially since the price tag is under $200! My children (4 and 3) will get good use out of it for several years! Definitely worth the money! It clearly states that the swing set is for ages 3-8, and should only have 8 children at a time who weigh up to 100 lbs each, so I think that's pretty reasonable. The swing set did lift a little at the base when both of my kids were swinging at the same time, but they recommend anchoring the set down to prevent injury, so we will be purchasing anchors soon to secure it down. Building it took a few hours (about 3-4), and most of it was simple with clear instructions. The only difficult part about installing was the long screws under the slide that were a pain to line up, and installing the handlebars and seats to the see saw. Other than that, it was a breeze! My kids are soooo excited to have their own playground in the backyard!I just got it delivered and of course put it together right away. Super simple. My husband and I finished the whole thing in three hours. Minus anchoring it with the extra kit we bought. I like it and my kids are going to love it. I was only disappointed because I didn't shop around...this is an older model swing set and there are others very close in price that are newer and look more COMFORTABLE. Nicer seats and slide and all that stuff...oh well, too late now. My kids won't think they are missing a thing.A nice looking swingset but not heavy duty. A couple of the parts arrived with small dents. I don't expect this swing would last through many children but it will serve my purpose. You need to purchase a anker system or it could possibly turn over. I like the colors of the set. It was not very difficult to assemble. It took two of us less than two hours. It included the needed tools. It is a pretty nice set for the price. I didn't want to spend thousands for a wooden set and then have all the work of tearing it down a few years from now.I received the whole swing set in one big box at first thought it would be too heavy to lift , but to my surprise it was not to heavy for two persons. Coming to the installation part , it took almost half a day to assemble , I would suggest use your own tools as the spanners and other tools provided are flimsy will not help you much. Over all satisfied with the out come.Pros: Nicely documented instructions and ease of setupCons: Too many screws and nuts, the manufacturer should look into standardizing the parts . There are too many varieties of screws , nuts and washers.
