This is a recording from a 1954 Carnegie Hall performance of the Birdland All-Stars featuring Count Basie, Billie Holiday, Lester Young. Charlie Parker and Sarah Vaughan. Unfortunately, the song list is missing some titles that were on the 1975 release on Roulette Records. Missing songs include the Basie Band performance of "Blues Backstage", "Perdido", "Two Franks" and trumpeter Dan Terry with the Basie Band on "The Teenager". Fans would want the additional material.
