50 Live Mondo Grass Plants - Ophiopogon Japonicus - Shade-Tolerant Evergreen Ground Cover for Landscaping, Borders, and Container Gardens

We purchased 100 plants of Mondo grass last summer. When they arrived, I was shocked at how small the plants were. They were tiny plugs of a few blades of grass. They looked NOTHING like the picture. But, we decided to give them a chance and my husband spent 2 days planting 100 tiny plugs of grass. Well, last summer they did not grow at all. We had hoped that this summer they would do better after acclimating to our garden. As you can see from the photo, the plants are basically dead! You can also see in the photo, the plants were very tiny. I contacted the seller and never received a response. I contacted Amazon, they also contacted the seller and did not receive a response. TERRIBLE customer service from this seller. I will never buy from them again. A total waste of $270!! DO NOT BUY! If I could give zero stars, I would!!These are basically plugs (very small), but they looked very healthy and we look forward to them bushing out as they take root and grow. Very pleased with the product.I received my plants just a few days after ordering. They look great! There was even a thank you note in the package. Thank you Diane and Wolfgang for promp service, good quality plants and your thank you note! It meant alot to me during these difficult times.Photo was misleading. Delivered upside down so all the soil fell out. Definitely substandard. Tiny bits of grass. I'll stick to buying at a nursery from now on. Very unhappyvery good quality, very healthy and lasted a long time not plantedI’ve ordered and reviewed these twice because I am so impressed with the fast service and good quality of the plants when they arrived. Thank you. I will order again from this company.I love this grass, I just planted it and hope it does well. The packaging was lacking, they could have found a better way to ship itOrdered 30 plants. They are less than 1/4 the size of the mondo grass that I ordered on Amazon last year and supplied by a different vendor. Also several have dead or dying leaves.
