I'll admit, I love cookbooks. Stressful day, I'll pick up a cookbook to read. And, I have a lot of cookbooks. But, out of all those cookbooks, I have a handful that are my go to cookbooks. This has joined that go to list!First, these are recipes for whatever food diet you adhere to (vegan, vegetarian, carnivore), this is not just one plan, and all the recipes are healthy. Second, I already have in my pantry 98% of the ingredients in all the recipes, nothing out of the ordinary for most cooks. Third, most of the recipes are not time consuming at all!! There are the usual chapter headings for recipes, but the extra chapters are great. There's even one for solo cooking when your partner, kids, or pets are all out and you want to fix something just for you or pack a great lunch for yourself.I highly recommend this cookbook! If you're like me, slight carnivore, but wanting to incorporate more vegan or vegetarian meals, without a brain freeze, this is the perfect cookbook, all three bases are covered.
