I have so much British Blues that I hadn't rushed to buy Joe's BBE. I listened to the audio and of course enjoyed it. I also have all the Tour de Force Blu-Rays. Then I said to myself this is the music that is a part of my blood more than any other and it's JB. I purchased it and immediately put it on. I could feel it immediately. The intro is great. The first shot of the Brits is great- you know they're brains are thinkin' Can JB do it? The feeling of this video is dynamic. Tour de Force great for what they are, but this captures the feel in a heightened level. I am thinkin it would have been cool to have a bonus of Black Country Communion, but her I ain't complainin. Speaking of complainin I did complain some about Joe's King's tribute as needing more visual which the Muddy Waters tribute does at the beginning. The complaint had nothing to do with the music. Joe just muscles it write off the bat with a tribute to Mr. Beck one of the greatest ever. I love how Joe choose EC's Mainline Florida which is so defining of Clapton in so many ways. Well I could go on and on about BBE. I'll finish off by saying how the Brits brought the blues to us long ago and now Joe takes the blues back over to Britain with a full blown dedication. B.T.W. I was happy to see how BCC got back as I had heard there was some feudin. Whether there was or not, Joe is just outrageous. I even have Rock Candy Funk Party which I enjoy. Love how he and Beth started there last with the great Humble Pie rocker and the amazing Steve Marriott R.I.P. tragic end with Steve and Ronnie Lane for that matter. Keep cookin Joe and if it isn't enough with you, you go and put out a new double CD- Like I said Keep cookin it.
